Old advertising
is dead.

Just like our founders. We’re what came next: a small studio that puts every last drop of your budget into the work.

01 / A brief history A vintage Hughson & Merton advertisement: the Connecticut Master Vibrator for Ford Cars

When Bill Hughson and Lou Merton ran things, it took an office full of salaried professionals to make a vibrator ad like this.

(to be fair, the social media activations were much stronger than the print work.)

Then & now

But that was years ago.
Things are different now.

Connecticut master vibrators aren’t selling like they used to.

We’re Small

by design.

We’re for the clients who don’t want their budget paying for the fancy office, or the overinflated overheads, or the Koons piece in reception, or anything that isn’t the work itself.

We’re for clients who just want to make great work with a few talented people they can call whenever. The ones who want every last drop of their budget on the screen. Or the paper. Or the bus stop. Or the video game.

And the ones who want to have a bit of fun while we’re at it.

How we work

Five steps. No fat. No decks about decks.

01Listen to your business problem/ the brief
02Assemble a tight creative team/ the people
03Nail the strategy/ the plan
04Squeeze every last $£€₿ into the work/ the budget
05Be so successful you have to pull the work, because it’s working too well/ the result
